How do I reset a user's password as an admin or manager?

As a (multi-)admin or manager, it's possible to reset the password of your users.
Below you can find instructions;

How to reset password for users registered via email or phone

The password can be reset by requesting a password reset link for the user:

  1. Go to User Management and verify user's email or phone number

  2. Enter the user's email address (or phone number) associated with the MobieTrain account.

  3. Click on Use my password.

  4. You will see a Forgot my password button—click it.

  5. Fill in the user's email address (or phone number) once again and submit the form.

  6. The user will receive a password reset link via mail / SMS.

Note: In case the user signs in via an integration (e.g. Microsoft AD) the password reset can not be done via MobieTrain, as the credentials of the company's active directory are used.

How to reset password for users created anonymously without email or phone

  1. Go to User Management and look for the user

  2. Click the ...-icon (three dots) next to the user to edit his information

  3. Click Edit information

  4. Click Reset Password button

  5. The password has been reset-- give the new credentials to your user.

Note: The "Reset Password" button is only visible for anonymous users.
