✉️ What is SMS-invite and why use it?

Sometimes users don’t have an email address — especially in retail or field roles. That’s where SMS invites shine! You can invite users using their mobile phone number instead, and they'll receive a registration link by text message 📱.

🛠 How do I invite via SMS?

  1. Navigate to the User Management tab

  2. Click on the Invite New User tab

📝 Fill in the invite form

Make sure you complete the following fields:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Mobile phone number — format: +CountryCodeXXXXXXXXX (e.g. +32470123456)

  • Job position (optional)

  • Company ID (optional)

  • Store (mandatory if role = manager)

  • User group (must add at least one group!)

  • Role (User, Manager, or Admin)

🎯 Without a store, a manager won’t be able to log in.
🎯 Without a user group, users won’t see any learning content.

Then, don’t forget to:

  • Select the language of the invitation

  • Accept the user agreement

✅ Click the Invite button

📬 What happens next?

The user will receive a text message containing a registration link to the MobieTrain app

They simply follow the link, register, and they’re in! 🚀
