Want to get users on board at the speed of light? โšก
Self-registration is your go-to solution!

Head over to User Management in the CMS and look for the Self Registration option.

๐Ÿ‘€ Canโ€™t find the button? No worries โ€” reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature for your account.

โœจ What does it do?

The beauty of self-registration? You donโ€™t need a user list or even know exactly whoโ€™s signing up!

You simply:

  • Generate a self-registration link

  • Share it wherever you want:

    • ๐Ÿงพ As a QR-code in your storeโ€™s coffee corners

    • ๐Ÿ’ฌ In a team communication app

    • ๐Ÿ” With external partners like interim agencies

Your future users just:

  1. Enter their email address

  2. Validate it via the confirmation mail โœ…

Done! Theyโ€™re now part of your MobieTrain platform.

๐Ÿง  How do I segment users?

Great question โ€” and weโ€™ve got you covered!

While creating your self-registration link, you can predefine:

  • ๐ŸŽฏ User groups

  • ๐Ÿช Stores

That means anyone registering via that link will be assigned to those settings automatically. โœ…

You can even track registrations per link:

  • Click the ๐Ÿ‘ค icon in the Self Registration tab

  • Or use filters in the Users tab

๐Ÿ“ˆ "Wow, my user count is on a roll!"

That's the goal! But if things get a bit too fast โ€” no problem. Youโ€™re still in full control:

  • Deactivate the link at any time ๐Ÿ”’

  • No one will be able to register via that link anymore

  • Already registered users stay active โ€” you can review or remove them via User Management

โš ๏ธ One more thing!

Yes, this link invites new users โ€” but it can also update existing users.

If an existing user clicks the link and enters the same email address as the one in the system:

  • Their profile will get the user groups and stores linked to the registration link โ€” automatically!

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: If existing users might use the link, double-check that all your users have an email address saved in CMS.
