Want to get users on board at the speed of light? ⚡
Self-registration is your go-to solution!

Head over to User Management in the CMS and look for the Self Registration option.

👀 Can’t find the button? No worries — reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature for your account.

✨ What does it do?

The beauty of self-registration? You don’t need a user list or even know exactly who’s signing up!

You simply:

  • Generate a self-registration link

  • Share it wherever you want:

    • 🧾 As a QR-code in your store’s coffee corners

    • 💬 In a team communication app

    • 🔁 With external partners like interim agencies

Your future users just:

  1. Enter their email address

  2. Validate it via the confirmation mail ✅

Done! They’re now part of your MobieTrain platform.

Want them to enter their first and last name too? Just tick the box during link creation.

🧠 How do I segment users?

Great question — and we’ve got you covered!

While creating your self-registration link, you can predefine:

  • 🎯 User groups

  • 🏪 Stores

That means anyone registering via that link will be assigned to those settings automatically. ✅

You can even track registrations per link:

  • Click the 👤 icon in the Self Registration tab

  • Or use filters in the Users tab

📈 "Wow, my user count is on a roll!"

That's the goal! But if things get a bit too fast — no problem. You’re still in full control:

  • Deactivate the link at any time 🔒

  • No one will be able to register via that link anymore

  • Already registered users stay active — you can review or remove them via User Management

⚠️ One more thing!

Yes, this link invites new users — but it can also update existing users.

If an existing user clicks the link and enters the same email address as the one in the system:

  • Their profile will get the user groups and stores linked to the registration link — automatically!

💡 Tip: If existing users might use the link, double-check that all your users have an email address saved in CMS.
