Milestones - How milestones work

Milestones allow you to bundle all types of MobieTrain learning content into one clear goal.

Where to find milestones

Milestones can be created from within MobieTrain's CMS, where it will show in the navigation bar. If it doesn't, please contact your Customer Success Manager to turn on this functionality for you.

How to create a milestone

From within the milestone section, you can see an overview of all existing milestones. Here you can create a new one as well.

After selecting the language of the milestone, you can enter:

  • a title

  • a description

  • an image

You can add these items in multiple languages if you'd like.

This will determine how the user sees the milestone on his homescreen in the app.

Then you'll have to decide which learnings you want to bundle in this milestone. You can choose out of all the content within your account, from drafts and published ones:

  • Live events

  • Single learnings

  • Crash courses

  • Classic paths

  • Info boosters

  • Videos

  • Quizzes

  • External links

  • SCORM packages

Who will see milestone

The user will only see the milestone if he has access to one or more of the learnings that were added. Within that milestone, he will only see the learning content that is published (so no drafts) and the ones that he has access to. That means that the content of one and the same milestone can diverge for different users or for the same user on different timings.

How to track milestones

We're working on a new, stadardized dashboard, where you'll be able to monitor who completed which milestones when. In case you want to discuss reporting & analytics options, please read this article or contact your customer success manager.
