What are the different views in the 'Learning Content'-tab? ("Group by")

🗂 Discover how to manage and organize your content more efficiently

Updated this week

When you enter the CMS and land on the Learning Content tab, you'll notice a dropdown menu in the top-right corner of your screen labeled "Group by". This lets you switch between different views to organize your content in the way that works best for you.

👁‍🗨 Group by: All

This is the default view you'll see when opening the CMS.
Here, all your learning content is displayed in a single list. You can sort this list by:

  • Name

  • Status (Published or Draft)

  • Last Modified Date

  • Rating (how well content is rated by end-users)

💡 This view is especially handy when you want to quickly find recent content you’ve worked on or filter by what’s live vs. still in draft.

🧩 Group by: Categories

Great for teams with lots of tracks or structured Skillflix screens.
If you’ve started organizing your content into categories, this view will display your learning tracks grouped accordingly. This helps you:

  • See what’s in each category at a glance

  • Easily maintain an internal structure within the CMS

  • Create internal labels like "Archive" or "Working on it" for your team (not visible to end-users)

🔒 Note: End-users won’t see categories that only contain draft content or published content not linked to their user group(s).
