Push notifications help you stay connected and up-to-date with important updates in MobieTrain. However, sometimes notifications may not work as expected. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to enable them and troubleshoot any issues you might encounter.

πŸš€ Enabling Push Notifications:

When you first log into the app, a pop-up will appear asking if you’d like to enable push notifications. Once you confirm, your device will also request permission. Be sure to approve this request to receive notifications.

  • Enable: Your browser will ask for permission to enable notifications.

  • Keep Disabled: Notifications remain off (until cookies are cleared).

  • Remind Me Later: You’ll be asked again during your next session.

  • Close the Pop-Up: The pop-up will reappear the next time you visit the homepage.

You can also manually enable push notifications via your Profile Page.

πŸ“Œ What Type of Push Notifications Are Sent?

Currently, push notifications are sent in the following scenarios:

  • πŸ•“ You have not signed in for more than 14 days.

  • πŸ’¬ You receive a personal message via chat.

  • πŸ“… You are registered for an event happening in 3 days.

πŸ”„ How to Re-enable Push Notifications After Blocking Them:

If you accidentally blocked notifications, here’s how to turn them back on:

Desktop Browsers:

  • Google Chrome 64+:

    • Click the lock icon in the address bar β†’ View site information β†’ Notifications β†’ Toggle to Allow.

  • Mozilla Firefox 44+:

    • Click the lock icon β†’ Permissions β†’ Send Notifications β†’ Select Allow.

  • Safari 16+:

    • Open Safari β†’ Settings β†’ Websites tab β†’ Notifications β†’ Ensure MobieTrain is set to Allow.

  • Microsoft Edge 17+:

    • Click the lock icon β†’ Notifications β†’ Select Allow.

Mobile Devices:

  • iOS (16.4+):

    • Go to Settings β†’ Notifications β†’ Find MobieTrain β†’ Enable Allow Notifications.

  • Android:

    • Go to Settings β†’ Notifications β†’ App Notifications β†’ Find MobieTrain β†’ Enable Allow Notifications.

Special Cases:

  • Notifications are sent to the last device you opened the app on.

  • Incognito mode disables notifications entirely.

  • Always use a supported browser:

    • Desktop: Chrome 42+, Edge 17+, Firefox 44+, Opera 37+, Safari 16+

    • Mobile: Chrome 42+, Firefox 48+, Opera 37+, Safari 16.4+, Samsung Internet 4.0+

  • Make sure Do Not Disturb or Focus Mode is turned off.

  • Add MobieTrain to your Home Screen on iOS for full notification support.
