Leaderboard - Release note

What is it

Leaderboards rank users based on their experience points. These points are granted to a user every time they complete learning content. The total sum of these points determine their rank in the leaderboard.

Where to find it

The general leaderboard will be available via the menu bar. Users can always go to that section to see their ranking immediately. It will display the top 10 users of the entire account and the rank of the user itself. 

Moreover their ranking will also display at the end of each learning content. It will show how finalising that specific content made them progress on the leaderboard, motivating them to complete more learnings.

How is the leaderboard calculated

For every learning content that users consume, they receive XP points. All those points sum up and determine their rank on the leaderboard. The score is thus calculated from the moment they start using MobieTrain until today. It shows on the board in real time, meaning that users will see the immediate impact of their actions. Everyone is treated equally, so all users in your account will be represented in the same leaderboard!

In summary, the leaderboard represents data:

• in real time
• of all time
• of all users*

*Managers and admins are not included in the leaderboard. Everyone with this role will be able to see the leaderboard, but their score is not represented in the ranking.
