Release Notes for New Question Formats and Crash Course Enhancements

## Version 1

The new formats are standard-activated for all clients.

On the main menu the 4 new versions are clickable and on hover over the cards turn and give the admin a small explanation of what the format will do.

The setup is kept consistent in all new formats to match the existing structure of the classic path and crash course so that the navigation of adding content is as easy for the admin as possible.

 

 

New Question Formats:

1. Video Only Format

 

Introducing the Video Only format, allowing users to engage with content exclusively through video materials.

How it works: After selecting the format the admin will end up on the content page, similar to the crash course of the classic path.

All items from the crash course of the classic path are available to fill in:

• Name of the course
• The information’s screen details
• Avatar image
• Splash screen
• Color
• Connection, the dependencies with the other formats

To add the video, the admin needs to click on the pre-made dot on the left side to keep consistency with the other formats to end up on the video step.

Here the video can be added from a link (YouTube or Vimeo) or the media library.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Info Booster

Introducing the Info Booster, a text only format, this format provides in-depth information and explanations through written content, supporting diverse learning preferences.

How it works: After selecting the format the admin will end up the content page, similar to the crash course of classic path.

All items form the crash course of classic path are available to fill in:

• Name of the course
• The information’s screen details
• Avatar image
• Splash screen
• Color
• Connection, the dependencies with the other formats

To add the content, text only format, the admin needs to click on the pre-made dot on the left side to keep consistency with the other formats to end up on the text steps. There is ONLY the option to add text steps. There is however no limit on the amount of text steps that can be added.

A nice addition to this format is that users can go back and forth between the different text slides.

 

 

 

 

3. Quiz

Introducing the quiz, a question only format. This formats is designed for admins who want to test their user’s knowledge without the context of instructional content. Users can challenge themselves with quizzes, assessments, and problem-solving scenarios to reinforce learning.

How is works: After selecting the format the admin will end up the content page, similar to the crash course of classic path.

All items form the crash course of classic path are available to fill in:

• Name of the course
• The information’s screen details
• Avatar image
• Splash screen
• Color
• Connection, the dependencies with the other formats

To add the content to the quiz, questions only format, the admin needs to click on the pre-made dot on the left side to keep consistency with the other formats to end up on the text steps. There is ONLY the option to add scored questions, no text/video steps. There is however no limit on the amount of steps that can be added.

 

 

 

 

### 4 Crash Course Enhancements

In addition to the new question formats, we've made significant improvements to the existing crash course format to make it even more flexible and user-friendly.

 

How it works: Single learning format, made for the cases when only one learning moment is needed. At this point a crash course can be built without using the path structure.
