A smarter login flow

Updated over 5 months ago

We know how frustrating it can be when users can’t log in smoothly — not just for them, but for you as an admin. Login issues lead to extra questions, delays in onboarding, and unnecessary support requests landing on your desk.

That’s why we've done a lot of research and testing to simplify and secure the process. We’re not only reducing user confusion — we’re helping you spend less time troubleshooting, onboarding, or chasing incomplete user info.

The result? Fewer headaches, faster learner activation, and more confidence that your people are getting started without barriers.

Here’s what’s changing — and why it matters for you:

👥 More Reliable User Profiles
From now on, all new users will be required to enter their first name, last name, and a password.

Why it matters:
This makes it easier yet more secure to identify users.

🔐 Switch from Magic Link to One-Time Code
We’re replacing the email-based “magic link” with a secure one-time code.

Why we choose to switch:
This method is a best practice that is more secure, more reliable (no broken links or expired emails), and gives users a consistent experience across devices. That means fewer login issues for learners — and fewer support questions coming your way.

A Cleaner Look with More Logical Steps
The login flow is getting a refreshed, modern design.

Why it helps you:
A smooth and professional login creates a great first impression for new learners and boosts confidence in your learning platform from day one.

📆 When to expect it?
These changes will be visible for everyone as from mid July.
